Biography
Mohammad Hossain is an experienced finance and accounting professional with over 32 years of expertise in financial management. He holds a Master’s in Commerce and a Bachelor’s in Commerce (Honors) from Dhaka University. Currently serving as the General Manager at AMZ Hospital Ltd. since January 2021, he has previously worked as Deputy General Manager (Accounts & Finance) at the same organization. He also held key roles at Mark Designers Group and Safa Group of Industries. His responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliation, product costing, and inventory control. Hossain is proficient in various accounting software including Tally-ERP9.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support the organization’s goals.
- Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for project funding and operational needs.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Financial Strategy: Provide strategic financial guidance to optimize resources, mitigate risks, and support growth.
- Team Leadership: Manage finance team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
