Biography
Md. Mahdiul Haque is a dedicated legal professional with a diverse background in civil, criminal, and corporate law. He currently serves as a Junior Associate at Md. Zulfiquear Ali, Dhaka, since August 2015, and has experience as an Intern at several law firms, including Advocate Kazi Md. Nakibillah Hiru & Associates and Advocate Khaled Ahmed & Associates. He holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of London, a Master’s in Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Dhaka, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Genocide Studies. Mahdiul is fluent in English and Bengali and has strong communication, organizational, and managerial skills, demonstrated through his roles as a volunteer coordinator and examiner in national programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to clinical trials, research agreements, and vendor partnerships.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ICH-GCP), and ethical guidelines in clinical research.
- Risk Management: Identify legal risks and provide strategies to mitigate them.
- Intellectual Property: Advise on intellectual property matters related to clinical trials, including patent rights and confidentiality agreements.
- Dispute Resolution: Handle legal disputes, including breach of contract and regulatory issues.
- Advisory Role: Provide legal advice to management and research teams on regulatory, ethical, and legal matters.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of legal proceedings, agreements, and regulatory filings.
