Biography
Dr. Abdullah Enam is a dedicated Medical Professional with a strong background in healthcare administration, policy reform, and health system management. Currently attached to the Additional Director General's office at DGHS, he provides technical support for healthcare policy development, health system transformation, and health financing. He has extensive experience in managing health projects, including the COVID-19 vaccine coordination and the IsDB-Friendship Five Floating Hospital project. Dr. Enam holds an MBBS and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) with a focus on healthcare policy and system strengthening. He has also contributed to various research projects, published in reputable journals, and participated in international conferences.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing statistical methods for clinical trials and research studies.
- Analyzing clinical data and interpreting results using statistical software.
- Collaborating with clinical research teams to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
- Providing statistical input for study protocols, reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Conducting sample size calculations and power analysis for clinical trials.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Preparing statistical summaries and visualizations for publications and presentations.
- Validating data and ensuring its integrity for study outcomes and conclusions.
- Assisting in the development of statistical plans for ongoing and future studies.
